Exterior International (EXI) is committed to fostering mutual understanding through fashion, using adornment as a bridge between cultures. We believe our outward appearance reflects our inner selves.

Founded in the 1990s at the Bedford Pines Housing Projects in Atlanta's Fourth Ward, EXI began by guiding young girls on cultural journeys through indigenous adornments, challenging beauty norms and celebrating global femininity, style, and culture.

My personal journey in fashion, marketing, and international affairs has taken me across continents, deepening my appreciation of the connection between culture and style. From Senegalese boubous to Nigerian attire, New York streetwear to French and Italian couture, and Gulf abayas, each piece tells a story of identity and heritage.

At EXI, our belief in "to whom much is given, much is required" drives our commitment to social responsibility. Initiatives like "The Modest Abaya Exchange" connect women worldwide, using fashion to foster support and solidarity.

We continue our charitable work through the EXI Book Exchange in Malaysia and partnerships with humanitarian organizations in Senegal. A portion of every sale supports causes like CARE and Muslim Giving.
